Since Tasha and I met in 2010, we knew we were called to do something far greater than ourselves. As we have continued to seek the heart of God, we began to see that His call on our life was to pastor a church. As we now see this dream beginning to unfold, we are filled with excitement and anticipation to continue the next part of our journey. This was not an easy step to take, but we are confident that we are doing what God has called us to do and we are excited to continue to see God fulfill His purpose through us.
Prior to pastoring Pioneer Church, Tasha and I have served in leadership positions in various local churches. During those times, God developed in us a huge heart and passion for people. Serving in these churches has equipped us for a time to lead and serve the people in our community. These were wonderful experiences, in which we matured and flourished in our calling.
We are so grateful that we have been blessed with the oppourtunity to serve Pioneer Church in a full time capacity. We have been offered some wonderful opportunities to disciple new believers, grow leaders, and communicate God’s truth in a dynamic way. We feel this experience has taught us what true leadership is and how to effectively lead and inspire others. We are thankful to have leaders who believe in our calling and pour into our ministry. We have experienced the impact of how a life-giving church can transform the community. Our desire is to serve those who are hurting, lost, and in need; this has inspired us to serve in the Downtown Memphis area.
